      The Republic of Tatarstan placed 14th among Russian regions by median wage level in Q2 2025. According to data from a study published by RIA Novosti, the republic’s indicator equaled the national average — the ratio coefficient was 1.0. Thus, the size of the region’s net median wage reached 61 thousand rubles, which allows it to cover the cost of a fixed set of goods and services 2.8 times. Experts note that the persistent labor shortage in the job market stimulates competition among employers, which in turn contributes to wage growth, writes Realnoe Vremya. In the second quarter of 2025 the average nominal accrued wage in Russia nearly reached 100 thousand rubles, which is 16% higher than in the same period last year. At the same time, the gap between the incomes of the richest and poorest Russians, according to the study data, narrowed to a record 7.5 times — the lowest value since 2000. At the bottom of the ranking were regions where the purchasing power of the median wage does not exceed twice the cost of the fixed set of goods and services. Earlier, experts from the SuperJob service published a ranking of the highest-paid vacancies in September in Kazan. When compiling the list they analyzed more than 79 thousand offers. The leader was a sales manager at a company dealing in medical equipment and devices. The potential income for a candidate in this category can reach up to 300 thousand rubles per month.
