      Situation on influenza and acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI)

      In the Republic of Tatarstan, the autumn seasonal increase in ARVI of non-influenza etiology began in early September and has continued for five weeks.

      In the last week of September (week 39 of 2025), the incidence of influenza and ARVI remained at the level of the previous week. The number of cases was at the level of the previous week in all age groups except the 3–6 years age group (+11.9%).

      As part of the influenza vaccination campaign, more than 900 thousand citizens have been vaccinated, which is 23.9% of the republic’s population.

      Also, a decrease in COVID-19 incidence has been recorded for the last three weeks. In week 39 — 256 cases (-13.5%).

      The Rospotrebnadzor Office in the Republic of Tatarstan urges citizens to take into account the seasonal incidence of respiratory infections and to observe preventive measures. If possible, refrain from visiting crowded places and limit contacts when signs of illness appear. Regularly ventilate rooms, wash your hands more often with soap or treat them with an antiseptic. At the first symptoms of a respiratory illness, stay home and seek medical care.
