Today we celebrate the Day of Wisdom, Kindness, and Respect.

      Today, on the Day of Wisdom, Kindness and Respect, we honor all representatives of the silver generation. The Ministry expresses its gratitude to those who stood at the origins of the environmental sector in Tatarstan – our veterans. The foundations of modern environmental safety in Tatarstan were laid several decades ago, and it was the veterans who were at the origins of this complex and responsible work. Their professional feat, many years of labor and deep dedication to the cause of nature protection created the solid foundation on which all the work of the Ministry is built today.

      “Your experience, knowledge and guidance have been a support for many environmental specialists in Tatarstan. We are proud of our veterans, their achievements and active life stance, which with the years has only become stronger and wiser. Thank you for the enormous contribution to the ecological well-being of Tatarstan, for your strength of spirit and dedication to your work. You are our wealth and pride! I wholeheartedly wish you robust health, longevity, joy and warmth of soul!” noted the Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov.

      The head of the agency also emphasized that the work of the veterans of the environmental service cannot be overestimated. Their knowledge, initiative and sense of responsibility have helped preserve Tatarstan’s natural wealth for future generations.

      The Ministry of Ecology operates a systematic program for working with veterans. Each year, as part of the Decade of Older Persons, festive events and themed excursions are organized for them, and ministry employees visit their predecessors to pay personal visits and express respect in person.

      Such work is not only a token of gratitude; it is a fundamental principle of the agency’s work, confirming that the experience and contribution of the veterans remain in demand and that their efforts to protect the nature of the Republic of Tatarstan are still considered invaluable.
