A Day of Gratitude to Our Veterans

The Day of Older Persons is a special day filled with warmth and respect for people who have traveled a long life path, who have devoted their energy to work and accumulated rich life experience. Such a day was the Day of Older Persons at the branch of JSC "TGK-16" — Nizhnekamsk CHPP (PTK-1), which took place on October 1 within the walls of the Nizhnekamsk Music College named after Salikh Saydashev. The event opened with a welcoming speech by the plant director Sergey Olyunin, who warmly congratulated former employees, noting each veteran’s contribution to the development and prosperity of the enterprise. Special attention was given to the experience and wisdom of the older colleagues, which they generously share with the younger generation. The speech by Deputy Chairman of the Veterans Council Leonty Alekseev completed the picture of the event: those gathered learned about current affairs at the enterprise and the state of the veterans’ organization. The veterans from the energy sector were also solemnly congratulated by the Chairman of the Veterans Council of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District of the city of Nizhnekamsk, Grigory Kitanov. He thanked the veterans for their labor and contribution to the development of the enterprise and wished them good health.
But care for the veterans is not limited to a single day. The plant’s management, the trade union committee and the Veterans Council show care for the elderly all year round. Members of the shop committees regularly visit their anniversary colleagues, providing necessary support and giving each one sincere attention.
Special attention is paid to financial assistance for veterans. Thus, on that day each pensioner was issued a one-time cash payment, expressing the team’s recognition and respect.
The solemn event smoothly transitioned into a pleasant tea party, accompanied by a concert program by creative ensembles from Nizhnekamsk. The songs were sincere and heartfelt, evoking a flood of positive emotions among the audience and giving them the opportunity to forget about everyday worries.
Every participant in the event received a charge of vigor and warmth, reinforcing the confidence that they remain an important part of the large family of their enterprise. Summing up this wonderful day, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who made efforts to organize the celebration, because such attentive treatment is the foundation of respect and love for older generations.
We wholeheartedly wish our veterans the strongest health, happiness, peace and well-being. May careful treatment of the elderly become the norm of everyday life for each of us, and not be limited to just one day on the calendar.
