As Tatar-inform was told by the FSB Directorate for the Republic of Tatarstan, the men purchased a large batch of unmarked cigarettes for further resale. During searches of garages, cafes, and shops in the city, more than 117,000 packs valued at over 17 million rubles were discovered and seized.
A criminal case has been opened under the article “Production, acquisition, storage, transportation or sale of goods and products without labeling.” The investigation is ongoing.
