Teacher Forever: A deputy congratulated teachers at a school in Zainsk on their professional holiday

      City Council deputy Valery Aleynikov thanked his teachers at his alma mater, School No. 6 — class teacher Liliya Idiyatullina and school principal Laysan Kamalieva — who now teach his own children.

      In the autumn season, when nature displays its generous palette, our schools are filled with a special, warm atmosphere. Festive events take place, and sincere words of gratitude and appreciation are spoken to those who stand at the origins of all professions — our dear teachers.

      A touching story took place at School No. 6. Two educators were honored there whose work is not just years recorded in a work book, but a whole life dedicated to children. Liliya Idiyatullina and Laysan Kamalieva — these names are known to several generations of Zainsk residents. And it was here, at their alma mater, that they were congratulated by the person to whom they once opened the road to the world of knowledge — City Council deputy Valery Aleynikov.

      This meeting became a true cycle of fate, a touching testament to loyalty to one’s native school. Valery Vyacheslavovich himself is a graduate of this school, and today his children have taken their seats at the desks of his alma mater. It was as if life itself had made a graceful turn: Liliya Rafisovna, who was once Valery’s class teacher, now guides his daughter Angelina through life.

      “It so happened that my class teacher now teaches my own children,” shared Valery Aleynikov. “Liliya Rafisovna remains in my memory as a teacher who could find an approach to every child. And Laysan Yunusovna taught us, Russian-speakers, to understand and appreciate the Tatar language. Their contribution to helping us find our path is immensely large. I warmly recall my school years when we visited museums, went on hikes in the forest, collected waste paper. My brother and sister also studied here. Many thanks to my teachers!”

      Liliya Idiyatullina has 38 years of teaching experience, 30 of which she spent teaching children to see the beauty of geography and biology lessons. At the same time, the teacher also serves as a class teacher. Speaking about the past and the present, she notes that at all times the priority was to give solid knowledge, and she says with a slight sadness that in the past there was a stronger sense of the “warmth of the soul” from children and parents, which today is somewhat crowded out by the digital age.

      “But when our former students come to their native school like this — it always touches the strings of the soul,” the teacher says with a warm smile.

      Her colleague, Laysan Kamalieva, is known at this school both as a talented teacher of Tatar language and literature and as a wise leader. Having risen from teacher to principal, she has preserved her love for her subject and for children. For her, visits from graduates are the most heartfelt reward. Not forgetting the future, Laysan Yunusovna has already invited Valery Aleynikov to the upcoming 45th anniversary of the school, because the connection between generations is what makes a school not just an institution, but a large and friendly family.

      “Valery was mischievous at school but a capable fellow,” the school principal Laysan Kamalieva recalls warmly. “And now his children, Angelina and Maksim, are his worthy successors, our diligent and active students. Both study well and actively participate in school life; Angelina also dances in the choreographic ensemble ‘Kapriz.’”

      This story reminds us of a simple and eternal truth: a teacher is not a profession but a calling that knows no temporal bounds. It is a person who, giving a part of themselves, continues to live on in the successes and achievements of their students. There is no greater gratitude for a teacher than to see that their work has borne good fruit and that love for their native school is passed down from generation to generation.
