State Duma deputies inspected the implementation of United Russia's People's Program in districts of Tatarstan.
State Duma deputies representing Tatarstan worked in the region this week. Their program included visits to social and educational facilities renovated or built under the United Russia people's program, the party press service reports.
Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy Maxim Topilin visited Drozhzhanovsky District, where he took part in the opening of a comprehensive service center for residents in the village of Malaya Tsilna. Joining him in the ceremony were the secretary of the local United Russia branch and the district head, Marat Gafarov.
Malaya Tsilna is one of the district’s largest villages, with more than a thousand residents. It is about 28 kilometers from the district center, and people often faced inconveniences when traveling to buy necessary goods. Maxim Topilin noted that the new center will allow people to obtain all essential products close to home, with shelves primarily stocked with locally produced goods.
The deputy also visited the Malo-Tsilninskaya Secondary School named after Ziyatdin Arslanov, a recipient of the Order of Glory in all three classes, where 63 children study. The school celebrated its centenary, and its two-story building of more than 2,000 square meters was recently comprehensively renovated.
Topilin emphasized that he personally monitored the progress of the work and noted that all changes were implemented in dialogue with parents and teachers. He expressed confidence that such educational infrastructure should become increasingly accessible so that children, regardless of where they live, can study in safe and modern conditions.
During the trip, Topilin also visited the College of Industry Technologies, which was renovated last year under the United Russia people's program. It enrolls 210 students, including in the specialty “Operation of Unmanned Aerial Systems.”
Young specialists study UAV structure and learn to operate and maintain them. The students’ mentor is a former pilot, Marat Bekmukhamedov, who passes on professional skills. The movement of student work brigades is also actively developing: recently students training as cooks returned from internships in Kamchatka, where they gained valuable experience and new connections.
In addition, the deputy familiarized himself with rural financial accessibility offices opened in the villages of Staroye Drozhzhanoye and Malaya Tsilna. The offices are equipped with computers and internet access and allow villagers to receive financial and government services remotely: pay utility bills and taxes, use the Gosuslugi portal, apply for a self-exclusion from taking out loans, and open deposits.
The project was implemented with the support of the district administration and the National Bank for the Republic of Tatarstan. Additionally, residents will be able to take online courses and improve their financial literacy.
Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Control Oleg Morozov visited Nizhnekamsk as part of a working trip. One of the main stops was the Nizhnekamsk industrial park, which the deputy visited three years ago.
Since then new residents have arrived, and both of the park’s phases are now fully occupied by 16 enterprises. In this regard, construction of a third phase is being considered, with six companies already having submitted applications.
The park’s residents are engaged in import substitution, exports and production expansion. Morozov was shown the site planned for the new phase. Thanks to the support of the government of Tatarstan, the federal center and the city administration, residents have been provided with full engineering infrastructure, including power, water, gas and road networks.
The park’s activities align with the goals of the federal party project “Entrepreneurship.”
The deputy then visited Lyceum No. 3 named after A. S. Pushkin, which underwent a major renovation this year. Some 320 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget to renovate the 60-year-old building. Morozov noted that the lyceum was restored with care and that its spaces have been completely transformed.
A meeting between the deputy and activists from schools, colleges and universities was held in the lyceum’s assembly hall. During the “Conversation About What Matters,” they discussed education, family values and opportunities for youth self-realization.
Morozov was also presented with the creative industries center “Baza” — an example of a successful renovation of an unused facility into a modern public space for creativity and technology.
Additionally, Nizhnekamsk solemnly opened a renovated section of Lesnaya Street measuring 2.35 kilometers. The repair was carried out under the United Russia people's program. In addition to new pavement covering more than 47,000 square meters, sidewalks, a bike lane, lighting and road signs were installed.
The total cost of the work amounted to more than 337 million rubles.
First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Alfiya Kogogina visited Naberezhnye Chelny, where she reviewed the results of the major overhaul of the youth club “Prospekt.”
The club, located in an annex to an apartment building, was transformed by the renovation into a modern space for creativity, sports and socializing. It now features a concert hall, art studio, gym, recording studio and cozy relaxation areas.
Kogogina recalled that the program for the major renovation of youth clubs began in Tatarstan in 2015. Since then 28 such institutions in Naberezhnye Chelny have been renovated and have become centers of attraction for young people.
She emphasized that the United Russia people's program is formed based on citizens’ requests and is implemented under constant oversight so that residents can see real improvements in their neighborhoods.
