About 70% of surveyed Jews living in the United States rate the leadership of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu negatively. This was reported by TASS, citing data from The Washington Post based on the results of the conducted survey.
According to the study, 68% of respondents do not support the actions of the head of the Israeli government, while 32% expressed approval of his policy.
More than half of the survey participants (61%) believe that Israel is committing war crimes against the civilian population in the Gaza Strip. The opposite position was held by 29% of respondents, and another 10% found it difficult to answer.
The survey was conducted from September 2 to 9; 815 Jews living in the United States took part. The statistical margin of error of the study was 4.7 percentage points.
