The Master and His Students: Madiyar Khaziyev's exhibition opens at the Zainsk Museum

      On October 3, a significant cultural event took place at the Zainsk Museum — the ceremonial opening of the exhibition "Madiyar Khaziev and His Students."

      The exhibition, which brought together works by the celebrated master and his followers, turned an ordinary autumn evening into a true celebration of art, filled with sunshine, harmony, and creative energy. The vernissage drew a wide range of guests: local residents, young talents — such as the student of the Children’s Music School Aizaliya Badretinova — and, of course, all those who appreciate painting. The center of attraction was Madiyar Khaziev himself — People’s Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Honorary Citizen of Naberezhnye Chelny, and a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and Tatarstan.

      The artist works in a unique style of ethnic avant-garde, drawing inspiration from folk folklore, traditions of color and form. His canvases are imbued with a joyful perception of the world, love of nature and of people. But on this evening Madiyar Sharipovich acted not only as a creator but also as a mentor.

      Since 2016 he has taught at the art studio at the Naberezhnye Chelny branch of the Union of Artists of Russia. Under his guidance an astonishing team of like-minded people has gathered: businessmen, entrepreneurs, former doctors, an appraiser — people of many different professions and ages who have proven that it is never too late to discover one’s creative talent.

      "With great love and trepidation Madiyar Sharipovich spoke about his students, their achievements and plans," shared one of the exhibition’s guests. "You could see how proud he is of their successes."

      And there is much to be proud of: Khaziev’s students have repeatedly won international competitions in Japan, France and Canada, as well as republic, Russian and city contests.

      The master also shared his large-scale project — the opening of picture galleries in the districts of Tatarstan. His cherished dream is to introduce villagers to high art, to give them the opportunity to experience beauty firsthand. To date, through the efforts of enthusiasts, 13 such galleries have already been opened.

      The atmosphere in the hall was so warm and heartfelt that time flew by unnoticed. Guests lingered with the artist, asked questions and conversed with him and his students as if with family.

      A particularly touching moment of the evening was the gift to the museum. Madiyar Khaziev presented the institution with several of his own works, as well as paintings by one of his talented students, thereby enriching the museum’s treasury. In response the museum director presented the patron with a letter of gratitude, expressing sincere appreciation for the generous gesture and the inspiring evening.

      The exhibition "Madiyar Khaziev and His Students," featuring 39 works by 23 artists, will delight visitors until the end of October. The museum is always happy to welcome those who long to touch the world of the beautiful.
