The event was organized jointly with the NGO "House of the Deaf." On October 2, a master class for people with disabilities, "Creating Together: Art and Knowledge," was held at the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan. The participants in the painting master class were Kazan residents — pensioners with hearing impairments. Each of them created a warm symbol of the arrival of autumn using papier-mâché. After the master class, the pensioners were given a tour of the National Library, including a visit to the book stacks. Sign language interpreters from Kazan rehabilitation centers took part in the tour and the master class.
