Heads of leading Indian media will arrive in Kazan for the business forum "TIME: Russia — India"

      As part of the event, on October 8 a panel discussion titled "Russia – India: Foundations of Strategic Partnership in the Media Environment" will take place.

On October 8 the forum program includes a panel discussion "Russia — India: Foundations of Strategic Partnership in the Media Space." Participants will discuss the role of the BRICS countries' media sphere amid global changes, new semantic emphases and industry development trends. Special attention will be paid to media diplomacy as a tool for strengthening peace and international cooperation, as well as to issues of professionalism and journalistic responsibility. A separate segment will be devoted to cultural diversity — the traditions, languages and values of BRICS peoples, and the search for common foundations and reference points that unite different societies. Experts will discuss the prospects and challenges of international information exchange, its role in building trust and expanding mutual understanding. Representatives of RT, TV BRICS, TASS and Interfax will also give reports at the media session, sharing their experience of interacting with Indian media.
