      On October 3 a real fire engine parked on the grounds of the Vasilek kindergarten. Visiting the preschoolers were senior investigator of the Department of Supervision and Preventive Work for the Zainsk district Lilia Pisareva, head of the Zainsk unit of JSC TRO "VDPO" Lyubov Astashina, and personnel from Fire and Rescue Unit No. 88. The event caused genuine delight among the children. The kids eagerly and admiringly examined the fire engine and the emergency-rescue equipment that helps save lives and fight fires every day. The firefighters did not just show the vehicle, but conducted an informative lesson for the children. In an accessible and engaging way they explained the most important fire safety rules: why you must not play with matches, how to act in case of a fire, and which number to call in an emergency. The specialists also demonstrated how to properly use primary firefighting equipment — the fire extinguisher. But perhaps the most exciting moment for the children was the opportunity to climb inside a real fire engine. The children's happy smiles and shining eyes were the greatest thanks for the visitors. Such events teach children to be more attentive and careful, and also foster great respect for the firefighting profession.
