The 6th season of the popular science competition "Science. Territory of Heroes" has started for schoolchildren and students. The competition runs from October 6, 2025 to February 2026 with the support of Russia’s national projects and is part of the "Science to Win" initiative of the Decade of Science and Technology. You can register on the Герои.наука.рф platform, which hosts articles about the scientific achievements and discoveries of Russian scientists and video tours of scientific organizations. During the competition, participants will complete game-based tasks and take themed quizzes.
“During the Decade of Science and Technology declared by President Vladimir Putin, special attention is being paid to popularizing the research field and involving young people in it. The competition ‘Science. Territory of Heroes’ has proven itself as an effective platform. Last year alone more than 22 thousand young people took part, and over the entire period — more than 90 thousand. This season, a creative direction is being launched for the first time — the ‘Scientific Creatathon’. I am confident this will allow even more schoolchildren and students to find their own development path in the field of research and contribute to achieving our national goal — technological leadership,” said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
The competition runs across several thematic directions: “Energy and Numbers” (physics‑mathematics), “Biochemistry of Discoveries” (chemistry‑biology), “Science in Life” (general education), and “Scientific Creatathon” (creation of creative projects).
“Today, our country has successfully built a system to support scientific creativity and established links between schools, universities and the real sector of the economy. The competition ‘Science. Territory of Heroes’ is one of the tools through which young people can get acquainted with the work of large technological companies interested in talented young specialists. I am sure that for each participant the new season will become a starting point for a major scientific journey,” said the head of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, Valery Falkov.

“Science. Territory of Heroes” is an all‑Russian competition for schoolchildren and students aged 10 to 25, aimed at developing interest in the natural sciences, popularizing scientific knowledge and supporting young talents, the website of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation reports.
