      Participants in the panel discussion "Russia – India: Foundations of Strategic Partnership in the Media Environment" at the international business forum "TIME: Russia – India. Mutual Efficiency" discussed pain points, the media’s work with artificial intelligence, and measures to counter the flow of fake information. This was reported to journalists by the head of the Republican Agency for Print and Mass Communications "Tatmedia", Aidar Salimgaraev, following the session.

      "We discussed pain points: what to do about artificial intelligence, how to deal with the flow of fake information, how to fact-check it. Accordingly, there was an account of how the media market is developing in India, and on our side how we are trying to convey our reality to the international level," he said.

      During the panel discussion Salimgaraev noted that Tatarstan serves as a kind of bridge between the West and the East. Tatars, Russians and 175 other nationalities live here, and Orthodoxy and Islam also coexist peacefully. Since Soviet times Russia and India have been partners, and Indian cinema has become an integral part of our culture.
