      Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a republican meeting in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the first business forum “TIME: Russia – India. Mutual Efficiency,” which took place on 8–9 October in Kazan. This was reported by the press service of the Rais of Tatarstan.

      The forum gathered about 3,500 participants. Within its framework, 15 sessions and a plenary meeting were held, and 19 agreements were signed, including a treaty between the Spassky District of Tatarstan and the Indian city of Agra. In addition, a number of enterprises of the republic concluded agreements to attract labor from India.

      “For us, cooperation with India is very important. We know what successes this country has achieved in the fields of information technology, medicine, pharmacology, innovation and technological development. The tradition of holding the forum should be continued in the future and used as a platform for exchanging experience, establishing business contacts and seeking new projects with India. Interest on the part of our Indian partners is also great; we will work actively,” emphasized the leader of the republic.
