      Aidar Gimadeev has been appointed editor-in-chief of the Tatar Book Publishing House. This was reported by the press service of Tatknigoizdat on its Telegram channel.

      Previously Gimadeev held the post of first deputy general director of the publishing house. In his new role he replaced the writer Lenar Shaekh, who had served as editor-in-chief of Tatknigoizdat for 17 years.

      Venera Kamalieva was appointed deputy editor-in-chief.

      “The professional paths of Gimadeev and Kamalieva have for many years been inextricably linked with book publishing, where they have consecutively held leading positions, accumulating significant experience and knowledge in this field,” the publishing house emphasized.

      Earlier, in early September, Rustem Galiullin was appointed general director of the Tatar Book Publishing House.
