      During the Decade of Older Persons, the MFC organized a consultation desk. Specialists from the Chistopol territorial body of the State Alcohol Control Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan and the territorial office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan provided citizens with consultations on consumer protection issues at the multifunctional center in the city of Nurlat. Participants asked questions on topics of interest to them. Specialists gave detailed answers to all questions received, explaining all possible ways to resolve their problems. At present there is an increase in fraud targeting elderly people, who fall under the influence of unscrupulous sellers, including in remote sales of goods. In this regard, citizens were informed about ways to protect themselves from scammers.
