      Day of Ashura – 25 June 2026 (10 Muharram 1448). The day of the salvation of the Prophet Musa (Moses) and a day of mourning for Imam Husayn for Shiites. Sunnis observe a fast on this day.

      Mawlid an-Nabi – the night of 24 to 25 August 2026 (12 Rabi‘ al-awwal). The birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
