Breast cancer can be prevented: key preventive measures
Breast cancer is one of the most common oncological diseases in the world, including in Russia.
From October 13 to 19, Russia is observing Breast Cancer Awareness Week. This is a time to remind yourself and your loved ones about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of this dangerous disease. Breast cancer is one of the most common oncological diseases in the world, including in Russia. This insidious disease occurs when pathological cells in the breast tissue begin to divide uncontrollably, forming a tumor. If treatment is not started in time, the tumor can spread to other parts of the body and lead to tragic consequences. The main sign is the presence of a tumor, which usually does not cause pain in the early stages. That is why it is so important to perform regular breast self-examinations. Tumor cells can begin to grow in the milk ducts and/or lobules of glandular tissue. The earliest form (the so-called “cancer in situ”) does not yet pose a threat to life. However, tumor cells can spread into adjacent breast tissues (invasion). As the tumor grows, a lump appears. Invasive cancer can spread to nearby lymph nodes or other organs (metastasize). Metastases can be fatal. The choice of treatment depends on individual characteristics, the type of tumor and the stage of the disease. Usually treatment is combined: surgery, radiation therapy and medications. It is important to remember that breast cancer, although very rare, also occurs in men. Approximately 1 percent of cases occur in the male population. Different forms of breast tumors (more than 30 of them!) can be found in half of women over 30. Fortunately, most of them are benign and not dangerous to health. Pay attention to other changes in the breasts: change in size; changes in the breast skin (deformation, puckering, redness, “dents” and “dimples”); changes in the nipple (retraction, change in position and shape, rash, bloody discharge); swelling and persistent pain in the breast area or in the underarm. Main risk factors: breast cancer in close relatives; early onset of menstruation (before age 12) and late menopause (after age 50); never having given birth; late first pregnancy (after age 30); excess weight; alcohol abuse. If you have risk factors, you should: regularly perform breast self-examination (once a month, 7–10 days after the end of menstruation); periodically consult a breast specialist; undergo mammography of the breasts; have an annual preventive medical examination.
Prevention of this oncological disease should be mandatory for all women: lead a healthy lifestyle; eat properly and balanced; give birth more often and breastfeed longer; avoid stress; give up bad habits.

В Татарстане за первые девять месяцев 2025 года было произведено 1 миллион 405 тысяч тонн молока, что составляет 106% по сравнению с уровнем 2024 года (или прирост в 74 тысячи тонн). Об этом сообщила вице-премьер РТ и министр сельского хозяйства и продовольствия РТ Марат Зяббаров на традиционном совещании в Доме правительства региона. Совещание вел Премьер-министр Татарстана Алексей Песошин с подключением всех муниципалитетов по видеосвязи. Также в мероприятии принял участие Председатель Государственного Совета РТ Фарид Мухаметшин, как сообщает пресс-служба республики.
По словам докладчика, в производстве молока лидируют Атнинский, Мамадышский, Мензелинский и Кукморский районы, на которые приходится 78% прироста. Эти муниципалитеты применяют передовые технологии в современных молочных комплексах. В то же время 15 районов показывают отрицательные результаты по надоям. Там, несмотря на сокращение дойного стада, продуктивность коров остается ниже среднеобластных значений, отметил глава Минсельхозпрода РТ.
Одним из решений для увеличения производства молока он назвал создание кормовых центров. В настоящее время в 24 районах республики функционирует 56 кормовых центров, обслуживающих более 210 тысяч голов крупного рогатого скота. В этом году запущены три кормовых центра в Зеленодольском, Сабинском и Тетюшском районах, а также строятся еще пять центров в Тетюшском, Атнинском, Алексеевском, Арском и Сабинском районах.
Министр отметил, что хорошие результаты показывает сельхозпредприятие, строя современные молочные комплексы и закупая племенных нетелей с высокими генетическими характеристиками. В этом году в регионе было открыто семь молочных комплексов на 2576 голов. В настоящее время реализуются 23 инвестиционных проекта на 22 тысячи коров, что должно позволить дополнительно производить 80 тысяч тонн молока.
По данным Национального союза производителей молока, в России число вновь созданных и модернизированных скотомест в 2024 году было минимальным с 2017 года. Этот показатель снизился с 115 тысяч до 71 тысячи. В организации отметили, что обеспеченность страны молоком составляет 85%, вместо запланированных в Доктрине продовольственной безопасности 90%.
В этих условиях Зяббаров призвал глав районов, руководителей агрохолдингов и других сельскохозяйственных организаций активизировать инвестиции в молочное животноводство для обеспечения устойчивого развития отрасли. Сельскохозяйственные формирования всех форм собственности, включая крестьянско-фермерские и личные подсобные хозяйства, за девять месяцев текущего года произвели 314 тысяч тонн мяса скота и птицы, что на 2% больше, чем в 2024 году.
Прирост по свинине составил 5%, по мясу птицы – 1%, а производство говядины осталась на уровне прошлого года. Наибольший рост производства мяса крупного рогатого скота показали Атнинский, Мензелинский и Балтасинский районы, в то время как 24 муниципалитета продемонстрировали отрицательную динамику. Зяббаров объяснил это низким среднесуточным привесом. Отсутствие современных технологий кормления и содержания скота не позволяет достигать высокого привеса в Апастовском, Лениногорском, Лаишевском и Бавлинском районах (в отличие от Кукморского, где они присутствуют).
Говоря о численности домашнего скота, Зяббаров указал, что поголовье крупного рогатого скота в Татарстане снизилось на 1%, в то время как поголовье свиней увеличилось на 5%. Сокращение численности крупного рогатого скота наблюдается в 26 районах. Наибольшее снижение зафиксировано в Буинском, Апастовском, Мамадышском и Заинском районах, где работают два крупных агрохолдинга: ХК «Ак Барс» и «Агросила».
