The National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan will open an exhibition titled "Path to Victory".

      On October 23, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., a ceremony for the official opening of the large-scale exhibition "PATH TO VICTORY" will be held in the exhibition hall of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event is being held as part of the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kazan Art College named after N. I. Fechin, and the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.

      The exhibition includes more than 20 diploma works by graduates of the Kazan Art College named after N. I. Fechin. In works executed in the genres of painting, graphics, sculpture, and design, the young artists embody the full depth of the emotional experiences of the victorious people. Through the prism of individual fates they convey the tragedy and grandeur of the era.

      A large-scale installation made up of photographic documents from the war years, which occupies a central place in the hall, gives the exhibition particular poignancy. The faces of soldiers, home-front workers, mothers and children allow the viewer to feel the full weight and anguish of the road to Victory.

      An atmosphere of historical authenticity is created by genuine artifacts from the collections of the National Library and the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan. Visitors will see personal belongings, first editions of works by the poet-hero Musa Jalil, as well as unique frontline letters written in Arabic script, Latin script, and Cyrillic.

      A special section of the exhibition is devoted to participants of the Special Military Operation. Here visitors can see captured weapon samples found in liberated territories, unique footage shot by war correspondents in the Kursk region, and North Korean posters from the SMO zone.

      Exhibition visitors can expect themed photo zones featuring rare items from the still-life collection of the Kazan Art College named after N. I. Fechin (kerosene lamps, telephone sets, furniture and wartime clothing), war chronicle footage, vinyl records from the collection of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan, and book displays about the Great Patriotic War and the SMO.

      The "PATH TO VICTORY" exhibition will run until November 30, 2025. Admission is free.
