This Wednesday, October 22, in Kazan, the new hydrofoil "Meteor 2020" named "German Serebrennikov" made its first voyage to Sviyazhsk.
“We plan to run a river cruise on the Volga with a guided tour on the ‘Meteor’ daily until November 9,” the press service of JSC Flot RT reports.
The vessel, built at the Gorky Zelenodolsk Plant, will eventually be used on the Kazan–Bolgar route with development of the Kama River area. "German Serebrennikov" is a modern comfortable vessel with a heated cabin, capable of accommodating 120 passengers. The ship’s crew consists of 4 people, and safety is provided by modern life-saving equipment with a capacity of 35 people.
At 36 meters long and 11.6 meters wide, the new "Meteor" is equipped with two main engines of 2 x 1,470 kW each, allowing it to reach high speeds and a range of up to 600 kilometers.
