The dangers of vaping and how to protect youth: a conference on health-preserving technologies will be held in Tatarstan.

      On October 27, a Republican conference "Youth Safety — Our Priority" will be held in Tatarstan, dedicated to modern health-preserving technologies and the prevention of addictive behavior among adolescents and youth.

      More than 200 specialists from the fields of education, sports, social protection and youth policy will gather on one platform. Participants will discuss key issues of drug addiction prevention, the fight against vaping, the spread of HIV infection and other socially negative phenomena. "The conference will become a platform for exchanging experience and opinions on practices and trends in the field of prevention of destructive phenomena. Special attention will be paid to working with children, young people and their parents to prevent addictions," emphasized Sofya Galieva-Mustafina, First Deputy Minister of Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan.

      Among the speakers are leading federal and regional experts:

      - Svetlana Orlenko, psychologist-psychotherapist, expert of the Federal Center for Professional Development of Specialists of the Prevention System (Moscow);

      - Andrey Zhilyaev, professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, president of the Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences of the Eurasian Association of Medical and Environmental Technologies, psychiatrist-narcologist, author of more than 300 scientific works;

      - Stepan Krinitsky, deputy chief physician for child narcology of the Republican Clinical Narcological Dispensary;

      - Larisa Fatkullina, expert on reproductive health issues, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor at Kazan State Medical University.
