"Milk like cream": elite Jersey cows have appeared in a village in Zainsk

      Resident of the village Svetloe Ozero Tatyana Akhmedova fulfilled a long-held dream — she acquired cows of the rare Jersey breed whose milk, by fat content, approaches cream.

      Tatyana Akhmedova from the village Svetloe Ozero brought to her farm cows that give the most delicious milk in the world. These are Jersey cows. The milk fat content reaches up to 10%. In addition to them, the woman’s household also has Ayrshire cows. Our film crew found out what the horned animals look like and what makes them unique.

      Tosya and Dolya are the new cows in Tatyana Akhmedova’s barn. The Jersey cows, which give the most delicious milk in the world, have been living with her for only a month. Buying them was the owner’s dream.

      The cows were brought from a breeding farm in the Vladimir region. Each cost the owner 300,000 rubles.

      The cows come with breeding papers that list their entire pedigree. One of the cows arrived with a little present — she gave birth to a calf before her arrival.

      While the newcomers adapt to the local conditions, the main cows of Tatyana Akhmedova’s farm — the Ayrshire cows — are grazing in the pasture.

      She processes and sells all the milk produced by the cows herself.

      The private subsidiary farm is Tatyana Akhmedova’s main occupation. Her favorite phrase is: a cow in the yard and food on the table.
