      An emergency incident involving a minor occurred at the Usadba Tsarevo residential complex in the Pestrechinsky District of Tatarstan. An emergency message was received at the local fire post’s communications center about a child who had ended up on the roof of an apartment building and was unable to get down on his own.

      Specialists from the Kazan firefighting unit promptly arrived at the scene. A fire ladder truck was deployed to rescue the boy; using it, the child was safely evacuated from the roof and handed over to his legal guardians.

      “Such cases should serve as a serious reminder: children's safety is the direct responsibility of adults,” the press service of Tatarstan’s fire protection noted. “Only through joint efforts can tragic consequences of children's carelessness be prevented.”

      EMERCOM personnel remind the public of the need for constant supervision of minors’ whereabouts, especially in areas of increased danger. Parents are advised to regularly hold preventive conversations with their children about safety rules at home and outdoors.

      The incident in Pestrechinsky District ended safely thanks to the swift and coordinated actions of professional rescuers.
