The prosecutor's office approved the indictment and sent to the court for consideration the criminal case against a 32-year-old oral surgeon from Kazan. The man is accused of fraud, the press service of Tatarstan's supervisory authority reports.
As the investigation established, from January 2024 to April 2025 the doctor, working in various clinics, defrauded patients of more than 1.9 million rubles. According to the materials of the criminal case, the oral surgeon offered 22 victims dental treatment without signing contracts with the clinics, promising reduced procedure costs and the possibility of recovering the money spent through medical quotas.
People, wanting to save, agreed and transferred payment directly to the oral surgeon, including giving cash. But they never received what was promised. The accused simply pocketed their money.
