In the third quarter of 2025, interest in car loans in Tatarstan increased noticeably. According to experts at Avito Auto, the average amount borrowers requested to buy a car was 1.22 million rubles.
Among car brands, those most popular with people seeking loans were Kia, Lada, Hyundai, Toyota and Volkswagen. Applications were most often submitted to buy a Lada Granta, Hyundai Solaris, Kia Rio, Kia Sportage and Toyota Camry.
Analysis of applications showed a significant gap between loans for premium and budget models. The largest amounts were requested to purchase a Toyota Highlander (3.3 million rubles), Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (2.8 million rubles) and Lexus RX (2.79 million rubles). At the same time, the smallest amounts appeared in applications for more affordable models — Peugeot 308 (379 thousand rubles), Lada Kalina (383 thousand rubles) and Opel Corsa (384 thousand rubles).
The dynamics of the car loan market demonstrated steady growth. Compared with the second quarter, the number of applications increased by 8.6%. A particularly notable jump occurred in September: the number of inquiries rose by 19% compared with July.
