On these holiday weekends, the "silver" volunteers of the Center for Active Longevity work tirelessly on the home front. "Tomorrow we have a 'sewing' day planned: at the volunteer headquarters we will be sewing stretchers, thermal blankets and will also continue to weave camouflage nets in two shifts at the 'Everything for Victory' foundation base," said the head of the Longevity Center, Anzhela Zakirova. The camouflage nets woven earlier have already been sent to the front to the fighters.
"When preparing camouflage nets, you need to take into account the direction to which they will be sent; based on that we choose the color," Anzhela Zakirova clarified.
The head of the Longevity Center noted that the work of weaving the nets was made easier by a machine assembled by volunteer Ayrat Gareev.
It turned out that the machine cuts spunbond into 5-centimeter strips, which are woven into the net. The camouflage nets woven by volunteers are needed in the special operation to conceal military equipment, trenches, soldiers…
