Emergency services extinguished a local fire at one of the technological units of Nizhnekamskneftekhim (part of SIBUR). This was reported to "BUSINESS Online" by the company's press service. As a result, no one was injured. Repair work is now organized at the site. The enterprise is operating normally; the incident did not affect the production processes of other facilities. According to "BUSINESS Online", the fire occurred at the organic synthesis plant (formerly the SPS plant). Polymer resins and oligomers are produced there, including styrene, propylene oxide, and ethylbenzene.
