      The amount of falsified dairy products has decreased in Tatarstan. This was reported today at a press conference at IA "Tatar-inform" by the head of the Department for Development and Coordination of the Domestic Market of the State Alcohol Inspection of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rozaliya Arslanova.

      "The results of comparative consumer tests that we conduct as part of the implementation of a set of measures to protect consumer rights indicate that for the first time in the last ten years we can note a positive trend in the reduction of the number of identified falsified goods," she said.

      "Last year a high percentage of falsified dairy products was recorded — about 30%," the head of the Department for Development and Coordination of the Domestic Market of the State Alcohol Inspection of the RT cited.

      "This year, thanks to preventive measures, we managed to achieve a reduction of this indicator. This year only 10% of dairy products registered were falsified. This group included sour cream, tvorog (cottage cheese), cheese, and ghee," Rozaliya Arslanova added.
