The project was initiated by the Kazan company Amkor. At the industrial site in Zelenodolsk gas turbine units and their components will be repaired, manufactured and reengineered. Customers will be energy companies from across the country. Previously, such equipment was mostly imported from abroad. After the imposition of sanctions, it was necessary to resort to parallel imports. Modern, including robotic, equipment has been installed at the plant. More than fifty specialists will work there. Production is planned to be expanded and three more buildings are to be constructed. The enterprise became the first anchor resident of the new Zelenodolsk industrial park “Turbina”.
