Tatarstan residents can now contact Russian Post online via the MAX messenger.

      Russian Post has completed the integration of its own digital platform for online communications with customers into the MAX messenger. Using it, the postal operator’s contact center will process text messages from residents and organizations of Tatarstan. The project’s technology partner is the Russian company CraftTalk, developer of an AI platform for omnichannel communications and knowledge management, and a member of the Skolkovo Foundation.

      The platform handles customer requests across all of the Post’s online channels — the website, mobile application, and chats on the social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki. With the emergence of the Russian messenger MAX, which is rapidly gaining popularity, Russian Post has included this channel in its official customer communications.

      “Customers are increasingly sending us messages on social networks and messengers. Over the past three months, the number of such messages has nearly doubled. To make communication more convenient, we created a special assistant (bot) in the Russian messenger MAX. This assistant quickly helps to send a letter or parcel, schedule an appointment at a post office, or call a courier. If assistance from a live employee is needed, the bot immediately forwards your message to specialists,” emphasized Dahir Semyonov, Director of the Online Channels Management Unit of Russian Post.

      “One of the tasks of the integration with MAX was to ensure that support service operators and the AI assistant could work with the complex logical scenarios that exist in the omnichannel platform of our client. I would remind you that, for correct and prompt responses, the platform is integrated into Russian Post’s main internal information systems. This allows customer service to be provided at a high level, taking into account the requests of a specific user,” commented Denis Petukhov, CEO of CraftTalk, on the project’s specifics.
