From January 26, 2026, a Russian airline is launching regular flights on the Kazan–Istanbul route. Flights will be operated three times a week on Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a capacity of 189 passengers. Flight time will be 4 hours 55 minutes.
Passengers will also have access to connecting flights to Istanbul from Barnaul, Bishkek, Dushanbe, Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk and Khujand with convenient connections at Kazan airport. The new route will expand opportunities for direct air links between Tatarstan and Turkey, the press service of Kazan airport reports.
