Experts from across the Volga Federal District gathered at the forum "Government Communications: How to Listen and Be Heard."
A two-day Media Forum "State Communications: How to Hear and Be Heard", organized by the Raisa RT Administration and the ANO "Dialog Regions", has begun in Kazan. The event, dedicated to the development of digital dialogue between the authorities and society, brought together about 100 heads of press services of government bodies and municipal formations from Tatarstan and other regions of the Volga Federal District (PFO).
The opening ceremony was attended by the head of the Raisa RT Administration Asgat Safarov, the CEO of ANO "Dialog" and ANO "Dialog Regions" Vladimir Tabak, as well as the head of the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications "Tatmedia" Aidar Salimgaraev.
In his opening speech, Asgat Safarov said that over five years ANO "Dialog" has helped implement many projects, ranging from increasing the social media pages of government bodies to large-scale information campaigns.
"The forum's title was chosen deliberately. The ability to hear and be heard is a key component of effective work. Your task is not just to broadcast information, but to carefully study citizens' requests, ensuring that their opinions find a real response in our work," Safarov noted.
The main session of the forum was opened by Vladimir Tabak, who spoke about changes in communication channels and audience demands. He pointed out that people are constantly in an information flow and spend about a third of their time on the Internet. At the same time, they look for interesting content, which is far from always truthful and accurate.
"Previously, the main supplier of information for society was the media. But during the pandemic people began to 'live' on the Internet. They work and study there. And being in this huge information flow, users try to figure out for themselves where the fakes are and where the reliable source is. Our task is to minimize the information vacuum, continuously and promptly providing people with important verified information," says Vladimir Tabak.
Within the framework of the forum, invited experts shared successful practices for working with content and false information, and also discussed which processes can use AI as an assistant. Special attention was paid to the legal aspects of working on social networks, such as compliance with copyright and the protection of personal data.
On the second day of the forum, specialists from the regions of the PFO will talk about their effective cases in the field of state communications.
