      The Investigative Committee of Russia has initiated a procedural check regarding a resident of Kazan about whom information was received as a person with radical views. The decision to conduct the check was made after publications in social networks and local media that reported on the unlawful actions of the man who, in particular, advocated for a terrorist organization.

      As the Information Center of the Investigative Committee of Russia reports, the head of the agency, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed the head of the Investigative Department of the IC for Tatarstan, Valery Lipsky, to provide a report on the progress of the procedural check. At the moment, investigators are establishing all the circumstances of what happened and are verifying the accuracy of the information received.
