"The most important person in everyone's life": Tatarstan's civil registry offices held events for Mother's Day

      Ceremonial events dedicated to Mother's Day were held at ZAGS (civil registration offices) in Tatarstan. Master classes, baby-care lessons for pregnant women, family-studies lessons for schoolchildren, and tributes to mothers of large families were organized at the district offices. This was reported to Tatar‑inform by the press service of the ZAGS Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

      “In round tables, master classes and trainings, psychologists, pediatricians, religious leaders and experts in the fields of family and demography took part. Mothers of large families shared their experience of family life and child-rearing. At the Aktanysh ZAGS there were lessons for school pupils where the children learned about the role of a mother in everyone’s life. The imam-mukhtasib of the Aktanysh district, Ruslan khazrat Murtazin, spoke about maternal love and patience that accompany a child throughout his life. Families who recently had children were invited to the event at the Nizhnekamsk wedding palace,” the press service said.

      The Shiminy family, who welcomed their third baby, were invited to the celebratory event in Nizhnekamsk. The father of the family, who is taking part in the special military operation, is currently on leave and was also present at the celebration. In Naberezhnye Chelny, young parents were presented with their babies’ birth certificates in a solemn ceremony.

      Elvira Akhmetova, head of the ZAGS Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan and regional coordinator of the federal party project “Strong Family,” congratulated the women of Tatarstan on Mother’s Day.

      “A mother is the most important person in each of our lives. A mother’s role in birth and upbringing is invaluable. Measures to support motherhood and pregnant women are being implemented in the republic. It is pleasing that the number of large families grows every year. More than 55 thousand large families live in the republic, and over the past 12 years their number has doubled. Mother’s Day is a wonderful opportunity to show respect and love to mothers,” she noted.
