      Today marks the 24th anniversary of the founding of the United Russia party.

      The party was founded on December 1, 2001 at the third congress of the union "Unity" and "Fatherland," where a decision was made to transform the movement into the All-Russian Party "Unity and Fatherland" – United Russia. On this momentous occasion, United Russia members of the republic were congratulated by the Chairman of the State Council, Secretary of the Tatarstan Regional Branch of the All-Russian Political Party "United Russia," Farid Mukhametshin.

      "For almost a quarter of a century we have confidently been moving together along the path of serving the Motherland, its stability and development, defending national interests, and the rights and freedoms of every citizen," Farid Mukhametshin emphasized. "Over these years United Russia has firmly established itself as the country's leading political force, uniting people of diverse views and cultures around the national leader Vladimir Putin, around our shared values and ideas. The trust of voters as reflected in election results is the main result of this long journey, and it obliges us to maximum dedication and daily responsible work for the future of Russia and our native Tatarstan."

      The head of the parliament reminded that at present, under the auspices of the largest regional party organization in the republic, a strong, well-prepared corps of deputies at all levels is successfully working, a systemic legal framework is being formed, national development goals, party projects, and popular initiatives are being effectively implemented.

      "Thanks to a coherent team, the commitment and patriotism of every United Russia member, significant social and infrastructure programs are being implemented that give people confidence in tomorrow," Farid Mukhametshin stressed.

      These days the party's Regional Public Reception Office is launching the traditional Decade of Citizen Receptions. Farid Mukhametshin instructed the party activists, the network of reception offices, and the Public Support Headquarters to organize this work so that all requests are heard and responses are given to every appeal. "A special emphasis is on supporting participants in the special military operation, their family members, and providing assistance to residents of the new territories," the head of the parliament addressed his fellow party members. "This is United Russia's principled position and our common civic duty."

      "Modern realities require bold and constructive decisions. We have repeatedly proven that together we can overcome any challenges, preserve political continuity and traditional spiritual values, and make the country and the republic even stronger. I am confident that with your initiative, loyalty to ideals, and attentive attitude to people's needs, all of this is within our reach," Farid Mukhametshin concluded.
