KIU's educational practice "Hug a Hero" is the outright winner of the all-Russian competition.

      Our university’s practice “Hug a Hero” achieved a convincing victory at the All‑Russian competition of best practices in youth policy and educational activities in Kostroma. Out of almost 700 projects from across the country, the jury selected only 46 best entries. Our practice not only made that list — it took FIRST PLACE, scoring 76.8 points — the highest result of the competition! This is an incredibly significant victory that speaks to the very highest level of educational work at our university. It is an event for the entire system of educational work in the Volga Federal District! Experts highly praised the “Hug a Hero” practice for its utmost social significance, sincere emotional power, and deep educational effect, noting the substantial practical contribution of the KIU team to patriotic education. KIU’s Vice‑Rector for Youth Policy, Ruslan Zagitov, was specially noted for his high professionalism and personal contribution; colleagues from different regions of the country recognized and thanked him. Congratulations to the Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the PiP Faculty, Rimma Khanmurzina, and youth work specialist Regina Yakupova, who worthily represented KIU at the in‑person defense and received a well‑deserved award!
