In Tatarstan, more than half of transactions on the primary housing market in 2025 were completed using loans. This was reported by Liliya Burganova, deputy head of the Office of Rosreestr for the Republic of Tatarstan.
From January to October 2025, 16,595 participation agreements in shared-equity construction (DDUs) were registered. Of these, 9,245, or 55%, were executed with loan financing. By comparison, for the same period in 2024 loans were used in 65% of transactions — 11,004 out of 16,871.
The largest volume of DDUs was registered in October — 2,316 agreements, of which 1,274 were concluded with loan financing, which also amounts to 55% of the total. At the same time, the October 2025 figure is 2.2 times higher than October 2024, indicating increased activity on the primary housing market.
Experts link the decline in the share of credit transactions from 65% to 55% to changing buyer preferences: some buyers are opting to pay in cash or use alternative financing schemes.
