Fatal crash in Laishevsky District: the driver of a Volvo drove into the oncoming lane…

      Today, at 02:50, at the 54th kilometer of the Kazan–Orenburg–Akbulak highway, a serious road traffic accident occurred with a fatal outcome.

      According to preliminary information, the driver of a Volvo, born in 1972, traveling from Orenburg toward Kazan, lost control while trying to avoid an obstacle. As a result, he drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a GAZ Next truck.

      The driver of the GAZ Next, born in 1978, died at the scene from his injuries. Emergency response personnel were immediately dispatched to the site. An investigation is currently underway, and all details and circumstances of the incident are being established.

      The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GIBDD) urges drivers to strictly obey traffic rules and be attentive on the roads, especially at night and in difficult road conditions.
