The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan awarded employees of GTRK "Tatarstan" for their contribution to ensuring the republic's road safety.

      Journalists on the watch for road safety — at the State Traffic Inspectorate representatives of the mass media were honored for helping inspectors through their work in preventing road incidents. Among those awarded were my colleagues — employees of GTRK “Tatarstan.”

      They served both day and night — year-round. They did everything to make every road user feel comfortable on the roads.

      “The past year, 2025, in terms of organizing road traffic safety was very difficult. But most importantly, we understand where we fell short, where our mistakes are, and that, on the contrary, strengthens us, gives us energy, and gives us an understanding of how to move forward in this direction,” noted Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Head of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Gafarov.

      Inspectors and journalists are moving in the same direction. Only such a tandem will help achieve good results, ensuring safe roads across the republic. For their contribution to reducing accident statistics, journalists from regional media were honored today.

      Several prize places went to employees of our broadcasting company: awards were given to radio broadcasting editor Aniya Gibadullina, correspondents Maxim Bakharev and Zlata Zakharova, and cameraman Ildar Galyautdinov.

      “I always say that one journalist replaces three, and ten inspectors at once. Today this is relevant. In fact, human interaction is very important,” said the director of the state budgetary institution “Road Traffic Safety,” president of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov.

      “Colleagues — I don’t say that lightly. Colleagues, you, like a traffic police officer, are always on duty. On holidays and weekends. Thank you very much for that. I express words of gratitude on my own behalf and on behalf of the entire staff of the State Traffic Inspectorate for your work, for your enormous contribution to road traffic safety,” noted the head of the GIBDD Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan Rustem Garipov.

      The concert program of the celebration was organized by the creative ensembles of the Kazan State Institute of Culture.

      “We hold round tables on road traffic safety every year. And I am very pleased that literally last week the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation called and are already asking for the dates of exactly this round table — and that is your work, and I want to thank you for it,” said the rector of the Kazan State Institute of Culture Roza Akhmadieva.
