      From January 1, annually 300 teachers of Tatarstan will be able to receive housing certificates worth 1 million rubles. The decree on this was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Aleksey Pesoshin.

      The certificate can be used for the down payment on a mortgage, repayment of the principal or interest on a housing loan, as well as for payment for housing under a purchase and sale agreement.

      The program will be available to caregivers, subject teachers in priority areas, lecturers and masters of industrial training in secondary vocational education institutions, as well as deputy heads who carry out pedagogical work. The main requirements are: under 50 years of age, at least three years of service in the position, and a recognized status of needing improved housing conditions according to republican criteria.

      For grant recipients, a mandatory condition is to work in the education sector of Tatarstan for at least five years after receiving the funds. In the event of changing jobs during this period, it will be required to take an equivalent position in another educational organization. Violation of this rule will result in the grant being returned to the republican budget.

      Participant selection will be conducted on a competitive basis according to the order of application submission among all candidates who meet the established requirements.
