The winners of the ski races among employees were determined at the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan.

      Last Friday, as part of the FSIN Spartakiad for service and applied sports, cross-country skiing competitions were held. Staff from all subordinate institutions took part in the event. The competitions were dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

      In the individual standings, the best among men was a staff member of the FSIN of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Andrey Tuktamyshev. Among women, Nadezhda Nikolaeva, an employee of Penal Colony No. 10, finished first. The winners have shown the best results for the second year in a row, proving that they are unrivaled in cross-country skiing. In the team championship, the winner was Mendeleevsk Correctional Colony No. 10.

      The awards were presented to the winners by the deputy head of the FSIN of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Ilnaz Fakhreev.
