      The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the interception of UAVs over several regions of Russia

      Overnight, Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 89 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported. According to the ministry, fixed-wing UAVs were destroyed between 23:00 Moscow time on December 28 and 07:00 Moscow time on December 29. The largest number — 49 drones — were intercepted over Bryansk Region. Also destroyed were:

      — 18 UAVs over Novgorod Region;

      — 11 UAVs over the Republic of Adygea;

      — 7 UAVs over Krasnodar Krai;

      — 1 UAV over the waters of the Sea of Azov;

      — 1 UAV each over Oryol, Rostov and Smolensk Regions.
