      Early on the morning of January 1, in the Almetyevsky District of Tatarstan, an unmanned aerial vehicle attack was successfully repelled by air defense systems. This was reported by the head of the municipality, Gyuzel Khabutdinova.

      As a result of drone debris falling on one of the technological sites of the oil infrastructure, a localized fire occurred. The fire was promptly extinguished by emergency services that arrived at the scene. According to preliminary information, the operability of the facility’s main equipment was not affected.

      As the district administration emphasized, no local residents were injured in the incident. There was no threat to the population or to the normal functioning of the city of Almetyevsk. The situation has been brought under control, and emergency services continue to monitor the situation.
