Modernization of Tatarstan's utility infrastructure under the national project "Infrastructure for Life"

      In 2025, the Republic of Tatarstan actively participated in the implementation of the national project "Infrastructure for Life," aimed at modernizing communal infrastructure.

      As a result of this work, 11.7 billion rubles were allocated for the renewal of the republic's housing and communal services. Of this amount, 979 million rubles was the investment component accounted for in tariffs. Within the project, a comprehensive set of works was carried out to renew utility networks and equipment. The largest share of funds — 801.5 million rubles — was directed to the development of the heat supply system. Over the year, measures for the reconstruction of more than 26 km of heating networks were fully completed.

      In the water supply sector, 107.8 million rubles were provided. Works were carried out to reconstruct networks and replace equipment, and the level of implementation of investment programs approached 100%.

      69.8 million rubles were allocated for the modernization of wastewater disposal facilities. All planned activities were implemented, including the reconstruction of sewer networks and the renewal of equipment.

      The State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Tariffs ensured the accounting of the investment component when setting tariffs, and also monitored the progress of work on communal infrastructure facilities.

      As noted by the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Tariffs, Renat Gainutdinov: "The implementation of measures under the national project allows for the systematic renewal of communal infrastructure and the consistent resolution of the sector's development tasks."

      The national project "Infrastructure for Life" started in 2025. It unites 12 federal projects and is a continuation of previously implemented state programs aimed at modernizing housing and communal services and increasing the reliability of utility systems.
