Without checking whether it was really her acquaintance writing, the woman transferred 40,000 rubles to the specified account. Later the friend reported that her page had been hacked and the communications had been conducted by fraudsters. The deceived woman contacted the police, where a criminal case was opened under the article “Fraud.” In connection with this, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan reminds citizens of the need to exercise caution: do not disclose bank card details, do not give passwords and confirmation codes to strangers, and avoid transferring money to unknown people.
