      Specialists from the State Legal Bureau of the Republic of Tatarstan provided significant legal assistance to participants in the special military operation and their family members as part of a joint project with a charitable foundation.

      Since June 2023, every week on Thursdays, lawyers and legal advisers from the State Legal Bureau have been holding in-person consultations at the Defenders of the Fatherland foundation's venue. Over that period, more than 95 such consultation days have already taken place. As noted by the Ministry of Justice of Tatarstan, the demand for qualified legal assistance among this category of citizens is very high. The trend in inquiries eloquently indicates the service’s demand: after 62 inquiries in the first year of cooperation, in 2024 their number exceeded 260, and in 2025 more than 450 people received legal support. Thus, the total number of the project’s beneficiaries has surpassed 750.

      “Our specialists help solve a wide range of legal issues: from restoring lost documents and matters of monetary allowances to complex procedures for arranging benefits, disability status, or lawful leave,” explain officials at the State Legal Bureau. “Often people do not realize the full scope of their rights or become lost in the bureaucratic system. Our mission is to ensure that state guarantees for defenders of the Fatherland and their families are implemented in full.”
