A female home-front worker from Nurlat was congratulated on her 95th birthday.

      Yesterday, January 7, acting deputy head of the executive committee of the Nurlat district Alfiya Galautdinova paid a home visit and, on behalf of the district head Damir Ishkineev, congratulated home-front worker Khadiya Gataullina. She presented her with commemorative gifts. Khadiya Safiullovna, despite her advanced age, received the guests warmly. In a warm, cordial atmosphere Alfiya Galautdinova conveyed sincere words of gratitude and congratulations from the district leadership, wishing her good health, cheerfulness of spirit, and the attention of her relatives.

      Khadiya Gataullina was born on January 7, 1931. As a teenager she experienced the hardships of wartime alongside adults. Her childhood and youth were devoted to selfless labor on the home front to help bring about the long-awaited Victory. For her valiant labor during the harsh years of the Great Patriotic War she was awarded the medal “For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945.”

      Khadiya Safiullovna, together with her husband, raised and brought up 9 children; she now has 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She lives in her own house, runs a household, and is surrounded by the care of relatives and loved ones.
