      Environmental inspectors discovered several unauthorized dumps in Almetyevsk that caused damage to nature totaling over 765,000 rubles, the press service of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan reported.

      On Shosseynaya Street in the SNT "Voskhod" demolition waste from buildings and pieces of asphalt pavement were recorded. Ecologists assessed the damage caused to the soil.

      Dumps totaling more than 260 square meters were found on land owned by private individuals. Claims requiring the removal of the dumps and compensation for the damage have been sent to the owners.

      Also, on an unallocated land plot a dump covering 650.8 square meters was found; the damage amounted to 544,600 rubles. A claim has also been sent to the Almetyevsky District Executive Committee.

      The total area of all identified dumps amounted to 914.4 square meters, and the total environmental damage exceeded 765,000 rubles.
