Residents of Tatarstan who need to contact a magistrate no longer have to remember district numbers or call the clerks’ offices. The Republic’s Ministry of Justice reminded citizens of the simplest way to determine their territorial jurisdiction. There are 190 magistrates’ court districts in Tatarstan, and assignment to them is determined strictly by address. To quickly and accurately find the required district, you should use the interactive map on the official Portal of Magistrates of the Republic of Tatarstan.
“On the portal there is a special tab ‘Territorial Jurisdiction,’ which displays a map of the republic. In the search field ‘Address or object’ you simply need to enter your home address and click ‘Find,’” explained Yulia Mikhailova, head of the department for organizational and legal support of the activities of magistrates of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan.
After that the system will automatically determine and highlight the corresponding court district on the map. The user will instantly receive complete information:
the court district number; its exact address; hours of operation and reception of citizens; a direct link to the district’s page with contact details. This online service allows citizens to avoid confusion and save time by providing accurate determination of jurisdiction in a few clicks.
